2000: Innovations in Foreign Language Instruction
This symposium presented a forum for sharing innovative teaching methods in foreign languages ranging from the use of more traditional teaching tools to the use of the newest and most cutting edge technology. The focus was on how innovative and creative ideas and materials can be incorporated into the language classroom in order to provide students an opportunity to interact with the target language and culture. Presenters from various languages shared syllabi, class descriptions, written materials, software, or web sites with participants from other universities or schools . Teaching assistants and language instructors from all languages and all instructional levels were invited to attend.
