Associate Members
Associate Council Members are elected by the council for a one-year term (renewable for one additional year) during the first meeting of the fall term. The Council may select up to three associate members from different language departments interested in Council participation and leadership. Any full-time or part-time language teaching professional (regardless of rank) may become an Associate Council Member. Associate Council Members are not compensated for their work. Associate Council Members may participate and vote in regular council business but they will not participate in the election of a new co-chair.
