The council relies on the work of its officers to conduct
business during the year. There are four officer positions:
Treasurer, Secretary, Webpage Associate, and Listserv Associate.
The treasurer oversees the financial matters of the council.
All financial decisions are discussed with and approved by
either the co-chairs or the full council. The treasurer presents
a final financial report to the council in the first council
meeting of the academic year. The secretary keeps minutes
of all council meetings and distributes them to the co-chairs
and the council. The Webpage Associate is in charge of updating
the CLI web page during the year. The Listserv Associate
is responsible for keeping the listserv membership up-to-date.
Officers are elected during the first council meeting of the
academic year for a one-year term.
